War against militants: A story of resilience and sacrifice

WEB Mohammad Ali Khan Babakhel, a grade 21 officer of the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP), has been at the forefront of the fight against militancy for over 17 years.

Babakhel joined the police service in 1996, and has since served in a variety of roles, including as a law enforcement officer, a trainer, and a commander.

In 2009, Babakhel was appointed as the Commandant of the Frontier Constabulary (FC) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Under his leadership, the FC played a key role in the fight against the Taliban and other militant groups in the province.

Babakhel has received numerous awards for his service, including the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Medal of Excellence) and the Sitara-e-Shujaat (Star of Courage). He is a highly respected figure in the law enforcement community, and is known for his dedication to his work and his commitment to the people of Pakistan.

The war against militancy in Pakistan has been a long and difficult one. But thanks to the efforts of brave men and women like Babakhel, the country is slowly but surely winning the fight.
